“Love Opens the Door”

We are called to: Experience God’s love. Celebrate God’s love. Share God’s love. This is the mission of Kalamazoo First United Methodist Church that was discerned by church leadership in 2001. Since this time, we have been discerning and discovering how it is that we are called, marked and defined by the love of God. As we celebrate Labor Day this weekend, we remember the works of labor that have contributed to the development of our society. As we worship this Sunday, let us re-commit ourselves to the labors of love that transform our lives. May we present ourselves to the God of Love as a living sanctuary to be renewed and dedicated to a transforming love that delights God and brings a sense of wholeness and goodness. Let us be a labor of love with God, for God and in God.
