Lent 2022: Listen
This week in worship we hear the story of an unnamed woman and a man named Jairus. Both are desperate. Jairus has wealth, and power, and access. The unnamed woman has none of those things. Both come to Jesus in prayer seeking healing. The woman for herself, while the man, Jairus, for his daughter. As we find ourselves listening to this story now in the fourth week of Lent, our task is to stand with Jesus and the disciples in the space between these two humans’ suffering and listen to their stories. In listening, perhaps we’ll hear our own stories as well. Join us as we continue the Lenten journey of listening.
Join us in person or online for worship on Sundays at 10am. If you’re joining us in person, please review our updated Covid practices.
