Habits of Hospitality: Welcoming All the People

“For the people of those regions report about us what kind of welcome we had among you.” -1 Thessalonians 1:9a
The scriptures this day invite us to connect, and they point us toward true community where none is better than another, none are excluded from the presence and love of the risen Christ. Not sure you are welcome? Hear this good news today – all are welcome! The Apostle Paul visited many places in his life and each time an enthusiastic church came to life. He encouraged “Radical Hospitality” long before it became a common phrase of the modern church. Imagine an enthusiastic church practicing radical hospitality that is guided by gentleness, invested in strength-based method and steadily gives thanks to God. Let’s imagine and live enthusiastically into a church community that welcomes all people.
