Join us this Sunday for the sixth Sunday of Easter. Service will begin at 10:00 am and you may join us In-person or online, after the service stay for one of our Sunday School classes.
“I’ve loved you the way my Father has loved me. Make yourselves at home in my love. If you keep my commands, you’ll remain intimately at home in my love. That’s what I’ve done—kept my Father’s commands and made myself at home in his love.”
-John 15: 9-10
Making our home in God’s love is residing in sacred space that allows us to be fully present and belong. Jesus bids us to be fully vested in this holy dwelling that finds home within us and then gives us the agency to create this sheltering place for others as well. We are commanded to be present to one another in love. Here in our church community and there in our world that longs for safety. As we worship this Sunday, we come to the sacred place in the broken bread and the cup of blessing. We pray that the Holy Spirit will be poured out on us, that we may be for the world the body of Christ. Come, the table of grace awaits our presence.
