The Call of Life “Take the Plunge”

The mission of Kalamazoo First United Methodist Church is to “Experience, Celebrate and Share God’s Love. Our mission is love. Love is our calling and our vocation as individual participants of our church and as a body.
It is our strong conviction that God’s love changes us and has the capacity to change others who come alongside of God and our body of believers. If we immerse ourselves deeply into God’s love and grace then it means we will desire to turn away from sin and evil. We will want to live in harmony with God’s life-giving grace. Our baptism is an invitation to this immersion of love, day by day, breath by breath. Let us jump in and renew our faithfulness.
