Second Sunday of Easter: Hi. Hello. Hey there.

We are now in Eastertide on this Second Sunday of Easter and our scripture this week takes us to the upper room, on the evening of Jesus’s resurrection. While every Sunday is a “little resurrection” it is always helpful and important to remember that Easter is not one day, rather Easter is a Season of 50 days leading up to Pentecost. And so in our worship we continue this week in our Easter celebration in the liturgy, the hymns and the sermon remembering that wonder-filled moment when Jesus came to the disciples in their fear and said, “Peace be with you.” When has Jesus met you with peace in your places of fear?
