“But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that becomes visible is light.” -Ephesians 5: 13-14a
We are called to live as children of the light and we are to shine the light on that which brings darkness. Join us for worship as we light candles in prayer, exposing and naming some of the darkness and despair that may keep us awake at night or certainly troubles our soul. Join us as we proclaim the psalms, sing hymns and make melodies to God, giving thanks and rekindling our light so that we may shine for the world and for Christ who is our center point. Let us look for the light, in the stars, in the time we share with friends or by beginning a gratitude journal and by holding onto a hope that will not let us go. As we worship, we will claim the light, cultivate the light and celebrate the Light of the World. If you are worshipping from home, bring some candles into your worship space so that you may bear witness to the Light.
