Being the Body of Christ

“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.”  – 1 Corinthians 12:12

Relationships form us. As we gather for worship, we celebrate our relationship with the Holy and with one another. We remember and experience how these relationships have the potential to transform us. We have been created by God, gifted by God, given life by God and we open ourselves to creating connections that express the body of Christ. Our bodies are good. Our bodies are vessels for the Holy to do marvelous works of love in the world. As we worship, let us gather anticipating that God joins us together as a strong community bound in love.
