On this Sunday we climb the mountain with the disciples, Peter, James and John, to see the glory of Christ revealed and the truth affirmed that Jesus is the Son of God. Transfiguration Sunday plays an important and pivotal role in our journey of discipleship just as it did for the disciples then. On this day, seeing Christ’s glory we will sing of the glory of God and give praise. This “mountain top” experience will prepare for a new trajectory that begins on Ash Wednesday, when we turn our hearts and minds towards Jesus’s journey to the cross of crucifixion during the season of Lent. But for now, on this day, we’ll linger with the disciples up on the mountain seeing and praising Jesus in all his glory.
Join us in person or online for worship on Sundays at 10am. If you’re joining us in person, please review our updated Covid practices.
