Steadfast Love

This Sunday we receive a song of thanksgiving that brings comfort to our soul as our spirit finds union with the Divine. God offers a steadfast love that is consistent and constant, and we find ourselves turning to receive with hearts of gratitude. It is a practice that needs to be cultivated in our lives. It is a journey that restores and renews our courage and compassion each time we attune ourselves to the love of God. On this Sunday, in the bleak mid-winter let us find the holy ground of gratitude as we participate in the ritual of Holy Communion. If you are worshipping from home, please prepare elements of communion, bread and juice, crackers and water, even cereal and milk. It is the receptive heart that God most desires. Let us experience God’s steadfast love.
