In our baptism, we are claimed by God, and we are reassured that we are God’s Beloved. Let us gather this Sunday to remember the mark of baptismal water upon our foreheads and live into the grace and abundance that is God-given. Remembering our baptism is a renewal of our awareness of God’s faithful love for us. Remembering and embracing this love allows us to accept ourselves, others, and the invitation to live into the call to be a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. Jesus has been named and claimed; we, too, must hear this same call upon our lives. Let us celebrate God’s love and weave our story into God’s story.
