Join us this Sunday in person or online at 10:00 am. Pentecost has arrived. It is the fiftieth day or the seventh Sunday from Easter Sunday
As modern Christians we observe Pentecost as a holiday, not to celebrate a wheat harvest, but to remember when the Holy Spirit invaded the church as the story is told in the second chapter of Acts. The Spirit is alive and moves among us as it did in the early church. We are a church that can proclaim resurrection hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. As the spirit is poured out, the body of Christ moves and shifts and brings an amazing beauty to the world around us. Pentecost is an invitation to allow the wind of grace to carry us always. This wind of grace carries us into the world, connecting us and offering whispers of restoration. It is Pentecost, come Spirit of God and be our power and our life!
